Founded in 1955, Woodside Sanctuary is a Johannesburg NPO providing full-time residential care for persons with severe to profound intellectual and physical disabilities. It offers 24-hour nursing care, therapy, rehabilitation and stimulation programmes in a home-like environment, and also provides training and support to NGOs and community-based organisations working with disabled children.
